AT&T has announced that they are deploying a next-gen open dis-aggregated IP edge routing platform into its production environment with support from Broadcom, Cisco, and UfiSpace. Their IP edge now utilizes the exact same UfiSpace hardware platform as their IP/MPLS core, demonstrating the true openness of the hardware.
