ESG Day 2, 2022 | UfiSpace Partners with Butterfly Conservation Society of Taiwan for Habitat Restoration
We recently had an opportunity to participate in a beautiful volunteer event with the Butterfly Conservation Society of Taiwan to support butterfly habitat restoration near our office premises, Shanshi Temple in Tucheng, New Taipei City. As an experience activity for our team, on the second day, we have removed over 40Kg of invasive alien species, including vines of "Mikania micrantha" which is rated as one of the top 100 invasive species in the world. We also planted trees and honey plants, in the hope of providing a better habitat for butterflies. Despite heavy rain and muddy conditions, our team was dedicated and passionate about supporting the cause. In addition to the volunteer work, UfiSpace made a financial contribution to the Butterfly Conservation Society of Taiwan to support their environmental advocacy efforts and to help continue their important work.
This is the first year we have worked with the Butterfly Conservation Society of Taiwan, and we plan to continue our collaboration and hold volunteer events twice a year in the future. Is is a great pleasure to see the team work and enthusasim of UfiSpace employees while working together on the environment conservation. We believe it is our duty to take action and make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.
