UfiSpace Launches Multi-Service Aggregation Router with OpenZR+ Support
New Taipei, Taiwan, July, 14, 2022 -- UfiSpace, the leading provider of open disaggregated networking solutions, announced today the new product launch of their open aggregation router, the S9600-30DX. This multi-service router is capable of supporting service providers deploy their next generation mobile and fixed broadband network using open and disaggregated architectures.
As the new addition to their S9600 Series of open aggregation routers, the S9600-30DX adds new features for 100G and 400G QSFP-DD OpenZR+ support. This extends the capabilities of the S9600 Series to the aggregation of the optical network. The service provider can potentially use a single, S9600-30DX, to perform the functions of both an Ethernet router and DWDM transponder, thereby reducing the amount of equipment needed to deploy a DWDM optical line system.
The S9600-30DX is a white box that utilizes the Jericho2 silicon to provide up to 4.8Tbps switching capacity. It can support service providers build 100G/400G networks, the S9600-30DX comes with 16x 100G QSFP28 ports, 8x 100G QSFP-DD ports, and 6x 400G QSFP-DD ports. Additional features include 8G deep buffer, optional TCAM, support for SyncE and IEEE 1588v2, and Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) support to enable time-critical 5G applications.
